Our Commitment to Accessibility
RatesQ is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards. Our goal is to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
WCAG 2.1 AA Target
We aim for our Platform to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, including keyboard navigation, sufficient color contrast (4.5:1 minimum), screen reader compatibility, descriptive alt text for images, and accessible form controls.
Measures We Take
- Building with semantic HTML for improved screen reader compatibility
- Ensuring keyboard navigation throughout the Platform
- Maintaining minimum 4.5:1 color contrast ratios for text
- Providing descriptive alt text for images and icons
- Using ARIA labels and roles where appropriate
- Testing with assistive technologies including screen readers
- Including accessibility in our design and development review process
- Training our team on accessibility best practices
Known Limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, some content or features may not yet fully meet these standards. We are actively working to identify and resolve accessibility issues. If you encounter a barrier, please let us know so we can address it promptly.
