RatesQ Does Not Hold a Mortgage License

Important Licensing Notice

RatesQ LLC does not hold a mortgage license, mortgage broker license, or NMLS identification number. RatesQ is a technology marketplace company, not a mortgage lender, broker, or loan originator. Use the resources on this page to verify the licensing status of individual mortgage professionals.

Verify Any Mortgage Professional

Before engaging with any mortgage professional, always verify their licensing status through NMLS Consumer Access. This is a free, public database of all federally registered and state-licensed mortgage professionals.

Verify a Mortgage Partner on NMLS Consumer Access

NMLS Consumer Access is operated by the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) and the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators (AARMR). It is the official database of mortgage licensee information.

What "Marketplace Verified" Means

Some partners on RatesQ may be designated as "Marketplace Verified." This designation means RatesQ has performed a limited operational review of certain information submitted by the partner, which may include publicly available licensing information, business information, and platform eligibility requirements. Marketplace Verification is not an endorsement, recommendation, guarantee, certification, or representation regarding any partner's licensing status, service quality, or legal compliance. Always verify independently through NMLS Consumer Access.
