Overview
This Affiliated Business Disclosure is provided pursuant to Section 8(c)(4) of the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), 12 U.S.C. 2607(c)(4), and its implementing regulation, Regulation X, 12 C.F.R. Part 1024. RESPA requires disclosure of business relationships between settlement service providers and entities with which they have an affiliated business arrangement.

As of the effective date of this disclosure, RatesQ LLC does not have any affiliated business relationships with mortgage lenders, title companies, escrow companies, hazard insurance providers, real estate brokers, home inspectors, or other settlement service providers that would require disclosure under RESPA Section 8(c)(4). RatesQ will update this page promptly if any such affiliated business relationships are established.
Third-Party Vendors and Service Providers
RatesQ uses various technology and service vendors to operate the Platform, including cloud hosting providers, email delivery services, payment processors, and analytics tools. These vendor relationships are operational in nature and do not constitute affiliated business arrangements under RESPA because RatesQ is not a settlement service provider and these vendors are not involved in providing real estate settlement services to consumers.
Consumer Rights
Regardless of any affiliated business relationship that may exist in the future, you are not required to use any particular settlement service provider recommended or mentioned through the RatesQ Platform. You are free to shop around and select any service provider of your choosing. Your choice of provider will not affect your ability to use the RatesQ Platform.
RESPA Compliance Statement
RatesQ does not receive compensation in connection with the referral of any real estate settlement service. RatesQ's revenue is derived from subscription fees, advertising fees, and marketplace participation fees that are not conditioned on or tied to any mortgage transaction or settlement service referral.
Updates to This Disclosure
RatesQ will update this Affiliated Business Disclosure if any affiliated business arrangements are established. Any updated disclosure will be made available on this page and will include the name of the affiliated company, a description of the relationship, an estimate of the range of charges associated with the affiliate's services, and a statement that the consumer is not required to use the affiliated company's services.
